Hungry City is an online food courier company for food outlets who don’t currently deliver themselves.

Our team of delivery drivers take pride in getting customers food directly delivered as quick as possible.

What is the story behind Hungry City?

Hungry City originally began in Maidenhead where it aimed to deliver big brands such as Mcdonalds, KFC, Nandos, Burger King, Subway, Pizza Express and other restaurants who don’t offer a delivery service.

How does Hungry City work?

Simply enter your postcode on the homepage, and we'll show you all the restaurants that deliver to you. Choose the restaurant that takes your fancy, put together your order, enter your address and payment details, and that's it - we'll get your food to you as soon as possible!

What kind of restaurants am I likely to find?

As Hungry City grows as a company, we are aiming to have all local restaurants as well as the Big Brands such as Mcdonalds, KFC, Nandos, Burger King, Subway and Pizza Express.

What time can I order?

Operation times differ at the discretion of the City Franchise.

How is the food delivered to me?

Once your order is placed, your City Franchise will arrange for a delivery driver to head to your chosen restaurant, pick up your food and deliver.

Do I have to Tip?

Whether you tip or not is completely up to you, but of course it is always appreciated. Our delivery drivers receive 100% of tips.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order differ takeaway to takeaway depending on how far we have to go to pick the order.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery charge differ takeaway to takeaway depending on how far we have to go to pick the order.

Can I place my orders in advance?

Yes! You can schedule orders one day before delivery. Please note delivery times are varied depending on the City Franchise.

Can I collect my order?

Unfortunately not, Hungry City acts as a courier company and not restaurant.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Please contact your City Franchise which is labeled on the website or confirmation e-mail. If you are unable to get hold of anyone, please ring Head Office on 01628 633 201

What if my order is late?

Our dedicated delivery drivers always aim to deliver food as quickly as possible, sometimes there can be delays. We will try and call you if we think your order is running late.

What if I have allergies?

Allergies can be left in comment section while ordering but we can’t take responsibility as we are just a courier company and don’t cook our self.

Why aren’t you delivering to my City yet?

Why are prices higher from my local takeaways?

We understand the prices are bit higher than your local take away. This is all to make over the operational costs we have to deal with to keep business running.

Other costs includes website running, marketing, payment to credit card companies, bank charges etc.

Why don’t you accept cash?

We do accept cash in most of our locations but this decision is left on City Franchise discretion.
